The Whites are adopting their first child this month and are leaving this week to go get their little man! They will be officially taking custody of six year old Sammy on November 23rd after more than a year of paperwork and filtering through the long adoption process. Rachel originally hired me to take their first family photos in December after they return home with him, but I couldn’t pass up the chance to do a short session before they go. Mothers who carry their baby for nine months get to have these amazing bump sessions with me and I just really wanted Rachel and other moms via adoption to have the chance at a similar feeling. A way to express their excitement and nerves of welcoming a new person into their family, to showcase the hard work they’ve put in getting their room ready, and photos to share the news with all of their loved ones.
