The Egts are one of my favorite families here in Sigonella! They are truly some of the sweetest people I have ever met. They have three beautiful and kind hearted girls and are expecting their first little boy this winter. Alesha says “I’m not sure what we’ll do with a baby boy”, but I know that he will be a sweetheart being raised by such great parents and having his older sisters as influences. We bounced a lot of ideas around before this session. From fields to iron gates to old churches, we really ran the gamut of ideas on this one! Finally days before their session we settled on one of my favorite locations. I had shot here the week prior and noticed that some of the oranges were just starting to look like oranges rather than limes and the rusty colored gate would look beautiful with the outfits that the Egts had put together. After shooting at the fence and brick wall area we meandered to a nearby orange grove and I was swooning over how beautifully the light was pouring in while the girls explored. I absolutely love these images of this family and am so excited for the next few months of change and growth in the Egts household!
