James was a total blast to have in my studio this past week! His parents and I have been trying to coordinate an outdoor portrait session for the whole family, but due to very busy schedules and nearly 2 months of rain on the island, it just wasn’t happening! Not wanting to miss this precious boy’s final months as a ‘baby’, his parents opted to schedule an indoor session just for James at my studio and we would try again for outdoor portraits once this very long rainy season finally comes to an end! James is very much in that independent phase. He’s crawling all over the place, developing his own little personality and absolutely LOVES to stick his tongue out! You’ll see from the sampling of images below that James would go from sticking his tongue out one second, to giving us a big toothy grin the next! 🙂 We kept a very timeless, classic theme for this milestone session with neutral browns and blues on a simple backdrop. We also added in a splash of Navy pride when James wore his U.S. Navy football jersey. I cannot wait for the next time I get to photograph this little chunk of love!
