Victoria is one of the most highly anticipated babies I have ever photographed. She’s the first girl born into her family (she has 3 older brothers) and everyone is absolutely over the moon excited for her to join the family. Her parents booked me for a Fresh48 sessions, which involves me coming to the hospital within the first 48 hours of baby’s life to document the new babe in the environment that she was born in. We do these sessions after momma has a chance to get cleaned up and all of the family members are able to get there to meet baby . It’s less intense than a birth session, but more timely than a newborn session… making it a great balance for someone who wants those first moments documented, but also keeping the actual labor and delivery portion as a private family moment.
Victoria was born in the wee hours of December 4th, so I joined them at the hospital later on that evening. She was surrounded by mom, dad and her three older brothers. Everyone wanted their chance at holding the new girl in town and the amount of love in the room absolutely over flowed. Especially from her oldest brother who was so sweet and gentle with her!
