Danielle Class of 2014
Danielle traveled all the way from Silverdale, WA to Sicily to visit with friends for the 2013 holiday season. Her friend Krystian had been photographed by me months prior and when Danielle and her family saw Krystian’s photos they also wanted Danielle’s senior portraits taken by Lyndsay Curtis Photography! I was so pleased to get the email saying that another beautiful girl from the Class of 2014 would be added to my growing list of seniors!
The original day we had planned for her session turned out to be rainy, so we rescheduled for a few days later. I woke up the morning of her sessions to birds chirping and beautiful rays of sunshine hitting the trees. I was honestly excited, because it was the first day we had like this in a while here! Sicily is surprisingly dreary in the winter months! We set out that afternoon in search of some uniquely Sicilian locations for this Washington girl to be photographed at. We ended up driving around a bit until the clouds parted to reveal the snowcapped Mount Etna behind a beautiful field of wild flowers. From the field we headed over to an abandoned old house that provided a great textured wall and then down the road a bit to a street lined with great big trees to frame Danielle.
As you can see, she’s completely gorgeous and was a total pleasure to spend a beautiful Sicilian day with. Danielle, enjoy the images and your final semester of high school!!
