Downtown Catania sessions are some of my absolute favorite to photograph. Fun architecture, a lively market and we finish up the morning with a delicious cappuccino breakfast! What’s not to love!?
When I’m able to photograph my good friends that’s just the icing on the cake. The Coumbe family will soon be leaving our little slice of paradise here in Sicily. To document the end of their years here in Sigonella they decided a Catania session would be the perfect fit. We all woke up extra early on a Saturday (not Lexi’s idea of fun!) and headed downtown for a gorgeous sunrise session in the streets of Catania. I absolutely love the sun reflecting off of the freshly cleaned streets, watching the city come to life as the day moves on, and documenting some seriously happy kiddos on their final visit to the city. An amazing start to my weekend!

Lexi was sweet enough to let me take a photo of her yummy gelato before diving into it! And then she fed the birds her brioche.
