Meet Jessica and Nick! They are insanely adorable and are expecting their first child SOON! Jessica and Nick contacted me to photograph their first baby bump in and around their coastal Sicilian home and I was immediately excited! Home sessions are some of my favorites to do for maternity and I truly love the town that they call home.
After an outfit change by Jessica, we headed up to their top floor terrace for an amazing view of the sea and Cyclopean rocks in Aci Trezza behind them! (Gorgeous view huh? I’m crazy jealous of their home!) Next, we headed down to the waterfront in Aci Castello for an attempt at images in the castle. It did not go as planned. As it would turn out, the castle was closed for a private wedding ceremony! Jessica ended up sweet talking her way into the guard letting us in for a few quick images “for the baby, for the baby” she told the guard and he obliged. Not only did he let us in for a few minutes, but he handed Jessica a bunch of flowers that were leftover from the ceremony. The gentleman asked where Jessica was from and when she told him California… “Baby California” he said in joy rubbing her little baby-belly and then reminded us that we only had a few seconds to snap some images! “Andiamo!”
After our time ran out at the top of the castle, we headed down to the pathway along the cliffs for some final images of Jessica and Nick.
Thank you both so much for having me there to photograph this time for you. I cannot wait for your little one to come into this world so I can photograph all three of you!
