Happy Valentines Day loves! As some of you may remember, a few weeks ago I set up a mini session weekend for the little ones. That two days of Valentines mini’s was a whirlwind! I had the honor of photographing thirteen children from eight different families ranging in age from a few months old on up to nine years. They were all such sweethearts. I definitely had a big smile on my face for the few hours that I spent photographing them (tickling and telling stories to make them giggle) and then editing and finally sharing the images with their awesome parents a few days later.
It was kind of a last minute experiment (as in two days notice!) to figure out if I would get a turnout for these shoots and if I even wanted to do this type of photography. I NEVER thought I would do mini-sessions, let alone have a blast doing them! I’ve had countless families ask me over the past two years of being in the “biz” if I would do something of this sort, but always came up with the answer that it wasn’t for me. BUT I’m so pleased with the turnout of families that I got and their great reviews that followed seeing the photos… I might just have to do another round of them. For these particular sessions, I also offered custom Valentines cards and was thrilled that a couple of families bought them and will passing them out to their loved ones this year!
